I discovered the beauty of this stitch with my Mother, where she tried to use the stitch to make a scarf for my brother.
The stitch is more like the usual double crochet but only with a twist. The stitches created are a bit closer to each other and slanted in orientation. And there ‘s a pairing of two rows to reveal the herringbone on the pattern.
The stitch is fairly easy, though you might have a little bit of a challenge on the first few tries but as you go on, you can crochet with ease.

I used this particular stitch on my Genara Shawl.
I also used the stitch pattern with a bulky yarn for a scarf and an ear warmer.
