It was mid October last year that I made my first crocheted shawl and now I already made more than a dozen since then. And I guess there is no stopping. The first one was supposed to be mine, but someone liked it very much and that I was forced to sell it to her. And that’s how I get hooked up in crafting shawls and selling them to friends and anyone else.
Started with following video tutorials on Youtube, but with the limited resource I then realized that I have to learn to read pattern diagram. Most of my favorite patterns unfortunately didn’t have video tutorials. And now, I’m convincing myself to level up with written pattern since I have plans of making my own pattern in the future.
I mentioned the authors and linked them with their pattern, in case you want to make your own, as well as my yarn suppliers. I sourced my yarns locally, yes I support and would highly encourage you all to support local products. Local yarns are at par with their quality and way cheaper compared with imported ones.
These shawls measures between thirty to thirty five inches on its spine and times two on the wingspan. So wide that, I would usually finished one in a week or more in between Mommy duties and all.
